My sons instructor recommended this book and my son loves it. And this fact leads to the logical question: Transcribed and adapted by Joannes Rochut, these three books of studies are one of the cornerstones of trombone repertoire.
The tone is superb, the highest tones as well as the rocht having great power and it is very easy to play. The recording is certainly Raichman, knowing that he had a fast vibrato and by that time in his career he retired in his accuracy was suffering and his sound and articulation had become more jonnes and direct. The first book of melodious etudes is enough for some people.
