On ‘Evil Genius’, by Catherine Jinks – Griffith Review
At a very young age, Catherinf was able to hack into any computer system. He was a means by which the audience views a complicated, secretive world.
He wanted to know. I had sort of rushed through it at the time, though, so I plan on reading it again to better soak it in, and then continuing on to the rest of that series. Cadel works a nice piece of revenge on his classmates and jiks of them — for one reason or another — graduates on time.
Quite simply, Yes, this book is a great read, and one that I would definitely recommend to everyone and anyone. Seeing how Cadel figures out how to disrupt traffic patterns in his first attempts at evil plots is wonderful, but the real stroke of genius is Cadel’s opening an on-line dating service to draw in unwitting victims and to raise money Cadel keeps the would-be suitors separated geographically so evip don’t become any genuus wiser that it’s a scam.
I also have a lot of friends on the North Shore, so it was amazing to see a story actually set in Sydney! Mar 27, AH rated it it was amazing Recommends it for: Cadel’s life and growth are interesting to witness, but it is a bit dull having to wait while he slowly loses his way gfnius for him to slowly gain it back. The first pages are incredibly tedius. Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks is a fictional story that I would highly recommend to anyone who likes books with slower plots but more complex characters.
According to all of his emails, he is not that liked among the institute’s teachers with the exception of Tracey Lane who has dated many other members of the faculty. The first, and most important reason, is the relationship between Cadel and Prosper. I feel like I can relate to Cadel as he stresses about his evil father, I know how that feels. Everything is, if not wrapped up, at least successfully drawn to a close by the book’s finish.
I always loved your books as I found myself relating more and more to Cadel Not in the criminal for a father, awesome hacking skills and previous enrollment to Axis as I found myself trying to devise a social algorithm myself at one stage and failed miserably.
And it was as I sat there, ignoring the whistling of our freezer and the quiet sounds of my sister going to bed, that I heard a sound that was out of place. Can you see it from the admin end? Toward that end, Cadel’s progress through high-school is accelerated, he has created a website which could possibly lead him to some money and he has grown to look normal, not his usual small self, and has created with the help of his father Dr.
My husband was intrigued by the cover and the inside cover made him laugh. An engrossing thriller with darkness and vatherine, freaks and geeks, Evil Genius explores the fine line between good and evil in a strange world of manipulations and subterfuge where nothing is as it seems.
A facade of higher education, its chemistry classes are all about poisons, art classes are about forgery, and the computer classes all about hacking. Now don’t get me wrong, there were explosions, but this book fvil up a much slower boil than I was anticipating.

There, Cadel takes classes in forgery, computers, money laundering, and other nefarious subjects. We became good friends after that, and he even bought the sequel along with me. So, maybe my rating of this book is entirely comparative.
