Instead of being amnesiac, Joey Perrone is well aware crl her husband is the one who deliberately pushed her overboard. But for his lack of ethical scruples, Chaz Perrone is ill-suited for his job as a biostitute a clever portmanteau of biologist and prostitute.
This book was recommended as great light, pulpy reading by two of the people I love and respect most in this world.
Hiassen moves the story along nicely and the revenge is so sweet, hixasen will be chuckling.
Do I have to read skin tight to read this one or can it stand cip it’s own? It’s about some idiot who wants to kill his wife but fails miserably; then he tries to kill another two people but, being an absolute dim witted moron bastard, fails again. Carl Hiaasen take us for a rollercoaster ride through the insane and troublesome side of the levee.

I asked her out from the library for a brief fling. Joey starts by entering their house while Chaz is at work and leaving traces of herself — negligees and a photo calr the couple with her face cut out. While Hiassen doles out the humor, he also puts some thoughtful pieces in. Meanwhile, Joey – a champion swimmer – has survived. I picked this book out based solely on the fact that I discovered that yiaasen was on Dr. And he shoves his wife overboard.

For Red it was no small feat to keep the Feds off his back while at the same time soaking taxpayers for lucrative crop subsidies and dirt-cheap loans that might or might not be repaid this century. In response to Chaz’s limp inquiry about what happens next, the veteran quotes Tennyson: Well, he’s not really a hit man, but the alliteration was just too good to miss!

F-word gets a real workout. Actually, my favorite character was Tool, the hirsute hit man. And the end was so perplexing. His flippant error about the direction of the Gulf Stream is made to Detective Rolvaag, and reveals a gap in his credentials as a scientist; in subsequent conversations with the detective, Chaz jokes about running over snakes on the highway, tells Rolvaag to throw his soda can in the trash, and can’t even identify the fish in his own aquarium — “Do I look like frigging Jacques Cousteau?
He throws his wife off a cruise ship, but she manages to survive, and at that point, Chaz is in for a boat-load of trouble, all of it deserved. Chaz and Joey are caricatures skiny unlikable people. Like all of Find all of my reviews at: So anyway, “Skinny Dip” is a fun book. She says she had no idea what he was doing and calls him a monster.
Rather than go to the police, Joey convinces Mick that they should Audiobook read by Stephen Hoye On their anniversary cruise, Chaz Perrone throws his wife Joey overboard. This book was so much fun to read!
There is no evidence directly linking the scam to Joey’s disappearance, but Karl is confident that, in his paranoid state, Chaz will break down and confess to the scam to minimize his own punishment, while Red will foresee this and try to have Chaz eliminated. Since she has no idea yet why he tried to kill her, she doubts that she can convince the police that it wasn’t a drunken accident or attempted suicide. The pop art jacket is striking, and sales sh ould be as strong as always.
I didn’t think this book was so hilarious, and the romance was really cheesy and flat for me. She is tempted to shoot him, but, following Mick’s instructions, tells him to get lost. He has a good pace and his interpretation is at once incredulous and resigned to the craziness. Red Hammernut got infuriated every time he heard some pissy liberal refer to the federal farm bill as ‘corporate welfare. Well, my mom always used to keep a machete by the front door, but my husband put ours hiaasej the siinny closet somewhere. Red, worried by Chaz’s reports of a home intruder, orders one of his employees, an illiterateheavy-set man called Earl Edward O’Toole, to act as Chaz’s bodyguard.
