Milne’s account demonstrated that regardless of intelligence, anyone can become subjected to charismatic personalities. I can see my dysfunctions now, heal them and become an independent seeker. Thanks to God I moved away from the sannyas conditioning and find my love again for jesus, milnw more I started to appreciate, meditate and pray with the the most profound Christian mystics.
True believers, even disenchanted ones, are short on humor as a rule, so Milne spins the by now familiar story of how the mean, heartless master endangered his followers lives through back-breaking labor, seduced their wives or girlfriends, half-starved them to death and when things didn’t work out, said it was all their fault. Jenny rated it really liked it Dec 17, But despite Rajneesh’s deceptions, misleadings and misdirections, weird materialistic obsessions and just plain lies, Milne makes it clear he continues, even after being shunned, to love the Bhagwan, recognizing the presence of a personal, almost telepathic sensitivity in the man.
From there I went on a mission to collect every perceivable faiped on Bhagwan.

You see I am a total lover of Jesus Christ now more then ever, so I agree with you. What’s really absorbing, though, is the parallel to our current American situation. Then, Bhagwan’s sudden decision to move to America, where the cult begins to unravel: I can’t imagine believing Rajneesh was holy or sacred.
